Cute baby quilt pattern is drowning in daisies

Gotta warn you up front - this pattern isn't sized for a baby quilt at all. Which means you'll have to do math. Let me apologize for that right now. (And someone kick Amy Bradley for not providing more quilt sizes in the pattern!)

Still, this pattern - called Doo Da Daisy, taking it to cavity-inducing sweetness - caught my eye right away. It's a great option for a monochromatic feel like in the example or a totally wild scrap quilt. I'd even love to see it done with a black background and bright jewel-toned flowers. (Black is good for baby quilts, right? Barf won't show on it.)

The pattern involves appliqued daisies and comes with two configurations. Originals are sized for roughly a queen bed. I would think doing it up with just nine of the center flower blocks would work quite nicely for a sweet baby girl.

Page says it's a clearance pattern, but it hasn't been marked down very much as yet, so it might be around for a little while still.
