Embroidered blocks make these animal quilt patterns special

It's easy to see why animal quilt patterns make great designs for babies. So many themes for a nursery involve farm animals or jungle animals or safari animals. Oh, and don't forget Noah's Ark, which pretty much uses every animal there is!

I was poking around to find some new animal patterns for quilts and ran across some from Jack Dempsey that are a little different from what I usually feature. The blocks are provided for you and the design comes from embroidery rather than fabric. I picked out a few I liked for making an animal baby quilt either from blocks or a whole top.

The packages come with the fabric you'll need printed with the design, along with a list of the DMC colors you'll need.
