I went round and round and round and round about just how gender-neutral that plaid fabric really was. The blue wasn't really blue-blue, but a slightly purple-blue. Finally decided if the yellow and green were played up more, it would work for either gender and just went for it.
Tried something different for me out in the borders by quilting circles, then stippling around them. As you can see in the close-up, I can sort of follow a drawn line to do a circle. Sort of.
The tight stippling meant the back had prominent circles visible, which was cool. It was getting too windy for pictures by the end, so no close-up, but the fabric was a green-on-green with leaves. Very pretty.
