This finishes off the three in this pattern, which I think is just adorable, although I do prefer not doing applique!
I used hearts in the squares instead of stars this time to make it a little more girl, then repeated the shape of the heart in the border quilting. The pink and purple fabric with the dancers was left over from a baby quilt for one of my nieces, and the flannel on the back has even more dancers. It was danceriffic!
I really liked the sharp contrast of the pinks and purples with the white on the front. I made a point of staying away from pale versions to keep the contrast going nicely.
